Yesterday morning included a brief visit to a basic little park in a tiny little Florida town. My mom and I meet at a halfway point between the cities we live in and this little park happens to be right in that zone. It’s not a park I would go out of my way to go to, but it’s a good spot to walk and my mom enjoys it.
The park gets boring fast for this girl who likes being able to hike in tree filled forests, so I decided to step back from my initial mindset to take the time to find the beauty in this place that’s not my usual preference for nature time.
It’s my reminder that beauty is everywhere if we just look. A constant theme for my thoughts while I live in an area that’s becoming more and more city, while I dream of a life surrounded by trees and clear streams and nature!
Here are a few favorite images from that brief time in the park. Trees and sky are always captivating for me. If I just look at these things, I can see the beauty that I otherwise become oblivious to in the rush of life in a place that is almost always in a hurry and filled with buildings, traffic, and people.
