It’s been a bit since I’ve posted. There is a draft in progress and several more still running around in my head trying to find the way out. Until I can gather my thoughts and funnel them into coherent sentences I’m challenging myself to post a few photos that I like.
The past few years have been filled with creative walls. My job does have creative aspects and I’ve been writing copy, taking photos, and designing marketing materials there. In my personal life there hasn’t been much painting or writing, but there is more reading and working with plants. Finally, the urge to paint and write are whispering to me. For now though, I’ll keep it short and share some of the images that have captivated me recently. The photo of my pup, Mellie, is a reminder to be still and feel the breeze and sun. When I take her outside during my lunch break, she likes to spend the first few minutes just laying in the grass with her nose in the air. What a lesson for a world that feels the need to constantly go, go, go.
Setting goals, in many facets of life, to make the time to let the creative flow. If there’s anything I’ve felt like life is teaching me, it is that we ultimately have to make the time because it won’t create itself. So, I’m stealing brief minutes to snap photos of things that bring me joy.
